    Ensuring the equitable allocation of resources to support students who have been historically underserved across the district such as Black students, as well as vulnerable populations including foster, low income, and unhoused youth.

  • Support for Students with Special Needs

    Enhancing career pathways to ensure that students with special needs are receiving the services and supports that they need to receive a high-quality education by investing in staff such as special education assistants.

  • Family & Community Engagement

    Creating spaces for authentic family and community engagement where families are a part of the educational conversation. It is important to work with families as partners to achieve better outcomes for students.

  • College and Career Pathways

    Along with increasing A-G college readiness, also Increase our career and technical education program offerings to ensure access for students across the district and also enhance partnerships to provide apprenticeship opportunities to students when they graduate.

  • Housing Options for Staff

    Partnering with city, county, and community partners to develop affordable housing solutions in Los Angeles to attract staff.
